Halo is a landmark sci-fi first-person shooter franchise originally developed by Bungie and later continued by 343 Industries, published by Microsoft/Xbox Game Studios. Set in a 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien coalition known as the Covenant, the series follows supersoldier Master Chief across campaigns spanning iconic ring-shaped superweapons called Halos. The series defined a generation of console shooters and remains one of gaming’s most iconic franchises.
