I have too many games to play and TOO MANY things to do
Hi, I’m Hobler. Here’s where I throw up my thoughts.
This is where I log my thoughts on the games I play, the movies I watch, and everything in between. I have no idea what I’m doing most of the time. That was a little fun fact.
I know I know, two days in a row of league? Touch some grass. I just wanted to finish up my battle pass to get the cool veigar skin. So might be awhile before the next one. Rumble in the Jungle, but actually space-groove rumble. Easy victory, I think my map awareness is much better in the role of jungling. A lot of my micro areas still need improvement. I felt like I was destroying Udyr the entire game through objectives, but he was many many kills ahead of me and had basically no deaths. We even ended up getting the dragon soul. I ended up with 4 kills, 6 Deaths, and 6 assists. Which looks worse than it was. I was a pretty hard hitting threat, but I certainly should have died less. Much less. Need to get more used to jungle routes with this latest update, my farming could use improvement. But hey, Rumble is so fun to play. Always a blast.
I played Mid. My performance? Also mid. Just kidding, it was actually really horrible. Which is a bummer because Vel’Koz is one of my favorite champions to play. I know he’s now more likely a support I think, and maybe this game was a reason why. Just kidding again, it was because I was terrible. My score at the end of the game was 3/12/13. At 6 minutes I felt I was actually doing pretty well against this Fizz who was insanely good. I only had 1 death and was playing safely. But eventually it was just death after death, my whole team was also sorta feeding as well. It eventually was something like 10 kills to 27. For whatever reason the team didn’t fully surrender. And guess what.
We won.
So yeah I played terribly, but I wanted to be there for the team and believed truly we could win, this is probably a terrible lesson in League and many people would grief rather than play it out if a surrender vote fails. But when it doesn’t you can have some fun. Yeah I did terrible with Vel’Koz, but I still had fun with him. Shredded with my Ult (or at least felt like it), sniping with my Q, and protecting my team and myself with my E. Plus of course, winning makes it really feel fun. Still I have much much to improve on in League. I don’t know how much I will really try to learn but I did notice how much better the other teams vision and map awareness was compared to ours.
Let me start with saying I completed some side battles and got some cool items to use like a choice specs or flame orb (maybe fling on Andre?). We also added two members to the team. First is Faux the Greninja. Specifically this is the special “Ash-Greninja” from the Sun and Moon demo. The second addition is a Totem Vikavolt I got after collecting 70 stickers, Vrbo the Vikavolt. Together this team steamrolled Guzma and his goons. With Vrbo one shotting his Golisopod, and Faux taking out the rest of his team. I will say though Guzma’s Masquerain is actually pretty scary. P.T.O. evolved into Beheeyem as well. The team is reaching its final state.
This play session we made it all the way to completing Acerola’s trial. Her trial wasn’t the most challenging, P.T.O. actually took out most of the prior ghost types thanks to Psychic and Shadow Ball TM’s. Percy’s Shadow Claw crit was what we really needed to make the Totem Mimikyu fall though. A Z-Move from Dolly ended Mimikyu. Seems like Dolly keeps taking down each Totem Pokemon. Heading to Po Town next, and so far I’ve loved using Debbie and especially using Continental Crush Z-Move with Debbie. Little ball Shelgon turns into big ball of rock to crush opponents. Oh yeah also P.T.O. has a dragon type hidden power, that seems sick.
In Party: Torracat, Shelgon, Tsareena, Gumshoos, Passimian, Elgyem
There was a lot to do in Malie City after we wrapped up our time in the Garden. I made sure to update my look (I like orange) and a few little quests you can do around there. We returned a left Pokeball that contained a Dartrix. The Dartrix belonged to this little girls grandfather and now is back with the original family. I can’t even remember what I got for returning Dartrix but still was a nice story.
There was also a puzzle walking on circle shapes in the city, which if you solve it you get 5 free max repels! They will certainly be used. Lastly we took on the Kantonian Gym. Which was a replica of Vermillion City gym, but I don’t think there were even any electric types. But Debbie the Bagon evolved into Shelgon!
Afterwards we made our way through Route 10, doing one more sidequest of finding the Stuffel throughout the Route, which got us some more cash. Once we got up the Mountain I just explored the route below for a bit and encountered an Elgyem. Now for whatever reason, I felt compelled to use this Pokemon. I had not planned on using it, but seeing as I rarely get that feeling of spontaneity for a Pokemon anymore, especially when they aren’t from the game I’m playings generation, I had to add it to my team. Meet P.T.O. (becuase I was on P.T.O. when I caught him).
Finally we made challenged Sophocles trial, and it was honestly not too challenging. We had to face a Totem Togedemaru, and while it does have some scary capabilities and strategies (a Skarmory setting Stealth Rock and Tailwind), Bulldozes from both Judge and Andre were able to make it so Percy could finish off Togedemaru with a Fire Fang. Dolly had to finish the trial though because of a Dedenne that took longer to K.O. than Togedemaru.
Percy also tried to evolve into Incineroar, but we stopped him. He’s gonna stay a Torracat for good. I need to figure out when to give him an eviolite or even an everstone so I’m not too pestered by the prompts to evolve.
